14 Days to Glory - Day 7

Yesterday I bought a new Pandora bracelet to match this year's green theme. I now have a beautiful permanent physical reminder of how special next Sunday will be, how far I have come, and a tribute to two wonderful friends - Shelley and Fern - who have given me the gifts of love and support beyond measure.

Beauty, strength and courage are awe inspiring.

  3. Hi Katie,
I can't remember if I have 'de-lurked' before or not but I just had to say I LOVE the way you write, you honestly are very talented and putting down on paper real thoughts and feelings that we all have. I really look forward to your posts. I also am a very slow weight loser, it is very frustrating at times but I also want to have a life with my family, enjoying a meal out without guilt and not forcing myself to eat things that I don't really like but know it's better for me.
All the best for the comp next week, you are already a winner (and you too Shelley) and I can't wait to see the pics.
    Cheers
    Donna

  4. hey Katie!
I just read you "Binge Wolf" post and loved it!
I realised about a year ago that I too was never going to be a "normal" person who could just put aside her anxieties and needs for control in regards to exercise and diet and just allowed myself to accept the way things need to be for me and I have never looked back! I rarely binge now and have finally accepted my body for what it is but I still strive every day to take positive steps towards improving it.
It is a great place to be and I am confident that it will be forever which gives me so much inner peace.
I am so excited for you to be so close to comp and I can't wait to see you shine on stage :)
