Strange Things

I got my hair cut today. I would take a photo but I will leave it until tomorrow when I do my week two update photos. Let's just say I now look like Jamie Eason in every single way - including her body LOL (oh except the fake boobies)! There is also some similarity to P0sh Sp1ce but my neck is longer and I have more muscles :)

I didn't suffer the normal neck cramp vs head massage because the chick hardly even massaged my head for more than 30 seconds today. It is probably inappropriate to say "more bitch ~ this is costing me over $200 so you could at least give me a couple of minutes worth" - so I didn't say it, I just thought it REALLY LOUD!

It was a beautiful day today and when I got home from the hairdressers Mr Katie and I had a BBQ on the back deck. I put on my bikini and sat in the sun. Mr Katie said "You're looking good sweetie".

Now I am not sure if it was a combination of the new hair and the few pounds I've lost in the last few weeks but this is something you may not know. My husband has never never ever ever complimented me on my weight loss ... I repeat ... never never ever ever during the whole journey. Every time in the past I have said ... "Do I look good?" He has replied "You always look good to me" or "I didn't think you needed to lose weight in the first place."

Needless to say this made me very very happy! I just put on some tracksuit pants and a sweatshirt because I was cold and he commented "What happened to the sexy bikini?" Oh my God, I think aliens have replaced my husband with someone else.

I had a great 9km run this morning. I ran past the fish markets, under the bridge and around to Pyrmont, past Pyrmont Point Park, past the Casino and around to the navy ship at Darling Harbour. Then I turned around and ran home. It is true that doing squats and deadlifts builds muscles in your legs that make your running easier. Only problem is that I wasn't as red-faced and sweat drenched as normal so maybe I didn't work hard enough. Not to worry - I "enjoyed" the run and the fabulous feeling afterwards.

4 degrees of separation - I worked with Brooke Satchwell on "The Graduate" who worked with Jesse someone on "Neighbours" who is the Australian doctor in "House" with Hugh Laurie.

  3. How NICE of Mr Katie to say something about his gorgeous wife for a change! That must have felt so nice. My darling tells me all the time how much he admires my new body, even though I have gained some weight! Can't wait to see the new hair do!
