The Final Countdown - 2 days to go

Weight : 56.0 kg (123.2 lb)
Yesterday's Food : You have used 1407 out of your net daily budget of 1400 calories and have -7 calories remaining. 12% of the calories are from fat, 46% from protein, 42% from carbs
Exercise : RPM
1 hour 16 mins : 612 calories : 157 max : 128 average

What a difference a day makes! I feel much much better today. The DOMS has all but gone and the bloating is leaving - I have being peeing a lot this morning. My abs are back.

I have just had my eyebrows waxed and am booked in for my first spray tan tonight. I have 4 sessions scheduled tomorrow and a blow dry (for my hair not my body!) after the last one.

I think I have everything to take with me (thanks Lia for the list) and last night I did a trial run of my makeup.

I am getting very, very excited. Only 2 more sleeps. One more sleep until sodium depletion and carb loading. Woohoo! This afternoon I will get rid of all my hair and the process will have officially begun.

Make your choice, and then put your commitment behind it. Even if it doesn't work out as you expected, at the very least you will have gained valuable knowledge and experience for making the next choice. - Ralph Marsden

  2. Hope everything goes smoothly for you leading up to the comp. Enjoy yourself while you're up on stage. You've spent so much time working for this and the moment goes quickly (although it will seem like forever while you are having to hold those poses, LOL). Have fun and remember to smile! Looking forward to seeing some pics and hearing all about it. Take care on the other side too, that's the hardest part in my opinion.

  3. I hope you're keeping a little hair... at least on your head. It's hard to keep the tiara on without a "do".

Oh - they don't give you a tiara? Damn!

    :o)

  5. Ooooh!! That is so exciting!! Good luck Katie... I laughed at you waxing lyrical about the raisin toast. *snap* that is something we have in common. I crave fully loaded fruit toast and fully loaded muesli in the leadups to my comps.

Glad everything has started happening for you... YAY for peeing... you should see how excited my Coach gets about peeing in the leadup to comp... LOL!!

    Good luck!! xxx

Good luck at the show!!! I hope it's an amazing experience for you. Please post as soon as you get a chance. Some of us live on the other side of the world and can't make it to the show.
