100 Day Challenge - Day 80 - The Pirates Council

Congratulations on making it through Phase Two of the Skinny Bones 100 Day Challenge. Please feel free to copy and paste your Parchment of Progress anywhere you like.

Here is the checklist for what you should have achieved in Phase Two. If you have missed anything you can still catch up.
  • reviewed your action goals -- checked the map
  • identified what you need from the people around you depending on whether they had the same or different goals -- recruited your Pirate Partner(s) and crew (+ bonus bone)
  • recognised and thanked the person who helps you the most -- chose your first mate (+ bonus bone)
  • identified the person who inspires and motivates you - your role model -- mid phase challenge post (+ bonus bone)
  • started a journal -- started writing your own history
  • resisted temptation and faced your fears -- fought the evil Pirate of Powerlessness
  • stepped out of your comfort zone - walk the plank
  • voted on the poll 'how clean is your diet?' - stocked the galley
Check In Process (*voluntary)
  • Fill in the Skinny Bones Tally spreadsheet in Google with your Skinny Bones tally for this phase (if you don't have access then add it to your comments)
Comment on this post with the following information
  • your milestones - e.g. weight loss, inches/cms lost, days without bingeing, physical improvements etc.
  • your victory over the Pirate of Powerlessness
  • the most important lesson you've learned over the past 20 days
KatieP's Check In
  • I have 11 Skinny Bones (entered in the spreadsheet)
+1 bonus bone - recruited my crew
+1 bonus bone - thanked my first mate
+1 bonus bone - mid point challenge/role model
-3 binges
-1 not training as much as I could have
  • I didn't give up even when I repeatedly lost the plot, and then got sick
  • My major victory was not reverting back to a restricted diet plan when it all went to shit in the past 10 days
  • The most important lesson I have learned is that giving up is not an option.
Look for the Phase Two Booty tomorrow.

♥ Yo-ho-ho-ho -- we did it gang! Second stage done!

+1 Bonus Bone- Mid Point Challenge/Role Models

I am no back to 10 skinny bones, but i can't find the link to the spreadsheet to enter it! oops :-(

Milestones in Phase 2: I have been binge free. Although this phase has been tough mentally, I have pushed through and am ready for Phase 3. During Phase 3, I will compete in my second bikini competition (Bikini America August 22nd) and hope to do very well. As for physical feats, my workouts have been through the roof, and I am very proud of how hard I've pushed myself.

Victory over the Pirate of Powerlessness: Yesterday, I almost threw in the towel and bought some chocolate while at the grocery store, but instead I bought strawberries and ate a few of those. I felt so great afterwards that I hadn't strayed from my goals.

The most important lesson I've learned is that: food is food, and drink is drink. Let's not make it any more complicated than that. :-)

Thanks again KatieP you are amazing!!

  2. Hey Lizzie

  3. Hi Katie,
This Phase has been a little challenging but I have realized my life should and will always be challenging and there is nothing wrong with that! I accept my faults and insecurities about food and can only look ahead. I am slowly but surely learning a lot about myself and knowing that there is a support group makes it easier. So thanks to all the team memebers, on to the next Phase..I am here and ready!
I will give myself 1 bone for having no sugar this phase and not weighing myself!

  4. This last phase as been extremely difficult, I am tring to do the best I can to stay as close to a healthy lifestyle as possible. I am really struggling with depression. I am hoping next week sometime I will be able to get back on track. I will finish this challenge, I am not giving up but I am in the pocess of re-thinking my goals and such.

  5. Cathy - Accepting ourselves and forgiving our shortcomings is an important part of this journey. One foot in front of the other is all we have to do.

Tearose - All you can do is your best at this moment in time -- not giving up is something to be very proud of.
