2. Today I ran a new personal best. 5k in 30:44 - so close to breaking the 30 minute barrier!

It is a bit hard to determine which tracks are which on the home page but if you subscribe through iTunes you can then search for the speed you want and download the track. It is also great for powerwalking at slower tempos.
The best part is that the music is continuous and I find that it is sort of repetitive dance music that helps you get in a meditation/zone type state. There are also tracks that have variable speeds built in to them for mixed sessions but I haven't tried any of those yet. Check it out!
Thats great Katie... good on you!! I totally have the bug too and am freaking out at the thought of no exercise next week when I will be in hospital!

I love your blog, I have only just discovered running myself and now I am running 12 km's for the first time this Sunday in our City - Bay fun run in Adelaide. I am excited and scared, but hope I can run the whole way without stopping.
ReplyDeleteI love reading about your running adventures and your running toys sound great.
Well done on your PB time as well. You will be under 30 mins very soon.
