In honour of my international readers I have added pounds next to my weight so they can play along. My weekly weigh in (prior to the fish and chip re-feed) was 56.0kg which is 123.2lb. If you want to work it out at home, just multiply kilos by 2.2 to get pounds. I was 62.5 kgs (137.5lbs)when I signed up for the comp so I have lost 6.5 kgs or 14.3lb in twelve weeks.
I am 5 foot 5 tall which is 65 inches or 163cm. My BMI at present is about 20.6 (it is on my scale photos - the number in the top left hand corner).

Today I had two lunches. I split my salad between two containers and had one at 1pm and one at 2-30pm. So instead of eating all my daytime food before 3pm (which is what happened yesterday) I still have snacks to go for this afternoon.

Tonight I am having dinner with two fabulous bloggers - Lisa and Tiny Donna (I'll link later because I am doing this quickly at work).
That is Tuesday dedicated to the number two :)
I really like your blog. I look forward to reading about your progress! It's a little tough to convert kg into pounds as I read though. I guess you have the same problem when you read American blogs. Just wondering how tall you are. It's hard to get an idea of the weight without knowing how tall you are. Not sure if you have that listed somewhere...I'm not done reading thru everything.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting daily. I just wanted you to know how inspiring you are. Everyday I lurk and see how you are doing and root for you to succeed, and you are!
ReplyDeletehave a great night with the fabulous tiny d!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie
ReplyDeleteI hope there will be pictures from the competition. Every night I log on to see how you're going, you really are an inspiration. I'm not going to be entering any figure competitions, but you've inspired me to look into some online training. Seeing how much things changed for you when you had the right diet and exercise plan I think it will be worth it. Not long now, go for it girl.

I've done the split lunch thing before too - it always worked well for me. I HATE it when you get to 2:00pm and all your food for the day is gone.... and you have to hang out till dinner at 7:00 or something ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great Katie - nice to see the can-do attitude shining through!
Very clever about the "2" thing - took me a while to catch on!
