You know how you think that being skinny will make you deliriously happy, well I have discovered that it brings with it a whole different set of things to worry about. Instead of enjoying resembling a pre-adolescent girl, I find myself having all sorts of bizarre concerns:
~ has my period stopped?
~ am I getting enough vitamins and minerals?
~ will my bones snap from osteoporosis?
~ do people think I have an eating disorder?
~ is this really healthy?
~ when will I not see any fat?
~ will I be completely flat chested before my legs lean out?
~ am I losing muscle?
So it seems that when you get what you've wanted for so long, there are always complications. Not that I am not happy to be in the best shape of my life and about to embark on melting away virgin body fat but it is curious that there is always something to worry about.
hey hun, i am sure no one in their right mind thinks u are ana!
ReplyDeleteif they do, i will get em for you...
grrr!!! *scary face*
love you lots but cant do lunch on sunday as the voice is still gonsky!
I can answer your second last question... if they are natural then YES... your chest will be as flat as a pancake weeks ahead of your legs leaning out!! Not fair huh? LOL!! Mine are nearly all gone *sniffle* and I've got a bit over 12 weeks to go!! I shudder to think what they will look like on comp day... *eeurgh* :o)
ReplyDeleteSurgery is a popular option for the flat boobies. But I'm sure no one thinks you have an eating disorder. Only thinking about what you "probably eat" and how often you "probably eat it" finding you without food nearby "probably" doesn't happen. It mightn't be a huge amount but I guess you eat fairly regularly
ReplyDeleteOh and live with a cooler bag
ReplyDeleteloved your hubby story with the picture he thought was you. mine was shocked (after being married for 22 years) to find out that I pluck my eyebrows - he thought they were that way naturally - until about a week ago. And yes, he has been in the bathroom with me mid-pluck - MANY times.
ReplyDeletePeople probably DO think you have an eating disorder. So what? You know the truth.
ReplyDeleteMost figure competitors (and a lot of just 'normal' fit freaks who don't compete) have to deal with that sort of thing. Don't let it get to you. It's the other person's problem, not yours.
