No movement on the weight front for days. I think my pre-menstrual bloat is masking the fat loss and I am expecting a whoosh after TTOM starts tomorrow hopefully. I look leaner and my smallest clothes are now falling off so I am confident things are still happening.
Internet will be re-connected tomorrow all going well so regular updates will resume - and I will catch up on what has been happening while I've been in solitary confinement.
Doctor gave me the all clear on my breast lump this morning with the caveat that I have lumpy breasts which may mask any problems. The solution is apparently to have a baby which will soften up the breast tissue. I said I'd go home and get right on to it ... and then I forgot and went to work instead. [joking ... not meaning to offend anyone who is trying for a baby ... it's just I am NOT interested in reproducing!]
Forgot to set my alarm this morning so missed my class. I will go to something tonight instead.
I am still full of snot and hacking like a 2 pack a day smoker after an all night alcohol binge. I think I have coughed up a lung. The only benefit is that I am constantly working my abs which are exhibiting signs of DOMs from all the exercise. Who would have thought the flu could be a workout?
Coach is scheduled for surgery on Friday - she is very brave and I wish her all the best (just in case I don't get to blog tomorrow). I am sure she will recover quickly and have an amazing transformation. GOOD LUCK sweetie - I'll say a prayer for you xxx
How annoying is that? At least you know not to be panicky about your lumps etc. But unfortunately that is going to make keeping an eye on yourself alot harder.
ReplyDeleteI know there is a self examination kit you can use where you can actually mark your lumps and bumps on these self examination pads so you can track any changes. Might be an idea.

Hi Katie, still following your progress, you look great. Two questions, how do you monitor your exercise calories, do you have one of those polar thingies, and I feel like an idiot but what does DOM stand for?

Puh! I've had THREE babies and I still have lumpy breasts. Add in major fat loss and my doc just shrugs and sends me off for a mammogram when I front up for an exam. She has NO hope of feeling anything unusual.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for technology.
Reminds me...must do that.
