I took some posing photos this morning for Coach to give me feedback. I am feeling a little better about my body today and my weight has gone down a bit even though I ate more than my allotted calories yesterday (damn Michelle mentioning licorice, I just had to have some).
Here is another peak at the bod and the suit (without a tan). This is my favourite photo and I can't quite believe it is me. I love how I look like I have boobs, I love my stomach, my front shoulder and the curve on my thigh. I have never looked like this before in my life. Coach says the best thing is that I am perfectly proportioned. I am neither top heavy or bottom heavy which is a good thing. I do have loose skin on my legs, but as no amount of eating or training will fix that at this point, I am hoping the judges don't take it as a negative but more as a tribute to how far I have come.
Can you believe that I used to be 25 kilos heavier than this for over 25 years? It just goes to prove that you can do anything you set your mind to. Honestly, if I can do it, anyone can! Who knew what was hiding under all that fat and the false belief that I was genetically a big girl.
